 Publisher Partnerships Minimize

BENEFITS

Partnering with Precise Edit could benefit a publishing company in three ways.

  1. Reduced time between manuscript acceptance and printing.
Most authors, especially new authors, need professional editing assistance, whether to polish the content of their manuscripts or to copyedit the manuscript to remove errors in grammar, punctuation, usage, and spelling. This can be a lengthy process, especially if the author does not already have a preferred professional editor. We can provide these services quickly, yet conscientiously.
  2. Improved marketing potential for published books.
Books that are written well, engage the reader, and are free from errors encourage present sales and lead to future sales. Precise Edit can work with authors to accomplish these three needs.
  3. Added value to your clients.
By including our editorial services with publishing services, a company increases the value of its services to authors. Additionally, recommending Precise Edit as a provider of editorial services also increases value to authors, especially those who may not know where or how to find an editor.

General Services

In our experience working with authors, authors need three types of assistance to prepare their manuscripts for publication.

  1. Review and analysis
Some need a comprehensive review and feedback of their manuscripts, indicating strengths and weaknesses and offering suggestion for revision.
  2. Polishing and content editing
Others need final polishing, which includes such tasks as clarifying ideas, adjusting content for continuity, or revising text to establish a consistent style and tone.
  3. Copy editing
Every author with whom we have worked has needed copyediting to remove errors in grammar, punctuation, usage, and spelling.
